These Terms are between you and Greycloud LLC. By creating a Humroom account, uploading content, or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use humroom.
Service Scope
humroom provides a platform for creators to upload and stream music through browser-based rooms. Listeners can access public rooms without an account. Creator accounts enable uploading, room management, and live broadcasting. humroom does not provide music from commercial streaming catalogs.
Creator Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create a Humroom account. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this minimum age requirement.
Accounts and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree not to upload content that violates applicable law, infringes the rights of others, or contains harmful material. humroom reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Creator Content and Warranties
You retain ownership of the music and content you upload to humroom. By uploading, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have a valid license to use, reproduce, distribute, and publicly perform the uploaded content.
- All recordings, compositions, lyrics, vocal performances, samples, and contributions from performers or collaborators have been properly cleared.
- Your content does not infringe the copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights of any third party.
License to humroom
By uploading content, you grant Greycloud LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, transmit, and publicly stream your uploads for the purpose of operating the humroom service. This license ends when you delete the content from humroom, subject to reasonable archival and backup retention.
AI-Generated Music
You may upload music generated with AI tools, provided that your use complies with the terms and licenses of the AI generation platform you used. You are responsible for verifying that the platform permits commercial use of its outputs before uploading. humroom does not review or guarantee the licensing terms of any third-party AI provider.
Moderation and Removal
humroom may remove content or terminate access for violations of these Terms, including copyright infringement, at its discretion. humroom maintains a repeat-infringer policy and will terminate accounts of creators who repeatedly infringe copyright.
Affiliate Relationships
humroom participates in affiliate programs. Some links on the site may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with a disclosure adjacent to the link.
Third-Party Services
humroom relies on third-party services for hosting, storage, realtime communication, and analytics. Your use of humroom is also subject to the terms of these underlying providers, including but not limited to Vercel, Supabase, and Ably.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Greycloud LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Disclaimers and Liability
humroom is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Greycloud LLC disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Greycloud LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada. There is no arbitration clause.
Changes to Terms
humroom may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
